anew launches CHIKAKARA ZAO 2026 music festival in Yamagata's Zao Onsen

The idol group anew will host the three‑day CHIKAKARA ZAO 2026 festival at the Takiyama Stadium in Zao Onsen, Yamagata, from July 18 to July 20, 2026. More than 30 performers—including idols, bands, singers‑songwriters, DJs, a comedy act and food vendors—will appear across a pre‑event, main day and a birthday celebration for member Tsukiyomi. The event’s concept is “Art idol new world,” and it promises genre‑less programming with artists such as SOMOSOMO, Nikoん, and the original creator Noriyaki appearing. Admission for students is ¥500 for all three days with a valid student ID. Local eateries will provide regional food, and the festival aims to blend music with Yamagata’s culinary culture.
