ANFP headquarters in Peñalolén closed due to irregularities
The headquarters of the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP) in Peñalolén has been closed by municipal authorities. The closure follows findings that the facility lacks definitive reception from the Municipal Works Directorate (DOM), a legal requirement for operation under Article 145 of the General Law of Urbanism and Construction.
In addition to the lack of building authorization, the Municipality of Peñalolén reported that the ANFP has operated in the commune since 2010 without the necessary municipal patent. Local authorities also identified unpaid obligations related to the property, including patents and sanitation fees, which could total approximately $172 million CLP.
Councilman Juan Cristóbal Cantuarias led the complaints, arguing that the institution should not receive special treatment compared to small businesses and neighbors. He called for the closure to remain in effect until the ANFP fully regularizes its legal and administrative status.
