Anganwadi worker recruitment announced in Odisha and Uttar Pradesh

Local government departments in India have released new recruitment notifications for Anganwadi positions.

The Women and Child Development Department of Odisha has announced six vacancies for Anganwadi Workers (2 posts) and Anganwadi Helpers (4 posts). Eligible candidates must be aged between 18 and 35 and possess a +2 (12th standard) qualification. The application deadline is August 20, 2026.

In Uttar Pradesh, the District Programme Officer for Etawah under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) has announced 102 honorarium-based vacancies for Anganwadi Workers across nine Child Development Projects. The recruitment is open exclusively to female candidates aged 18 to 35 who have completed Intermediate (12th) or an equivalent qualification. Online applications for the Etawah positions are accepted until August 30, 2026.
