Ange Postecoglou appointed head coach of Al‑Nassr

Australian coach Ange Postecoglou, 60, has signed a two‑year contract to become head coach of Saudi Pro League champions Al‑Nassr, replacing Jorge Jesus. The club announced the appointment on 4 June, highlighting the coach’s previous successes with Celtic, Brisbane Roar, Yokohama F. Marinos and Tottenham Hotspur, where he led the team to the 2025 Europa League trophy.

Al‑Nassr, fresh league champions, retain a star‑studded roster that includes captain Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, Sadio Mané, Kingsley Coman and Marcelo Brozovic. Postecoglou’s first address to the squad stressed “respect above everything else” and promised a professional, positive environment.
