Angel City draws 1-1 with Washington Spirit in NWSL action

In National Women’s Soccer League action, Angel City FC and the Washington Spirit played to a 1-1 draw. Trinity Rodman scored her 10th goal of the season in the 65th minute to give the Spirit a 1-0 lead. Angel City’s Ally Sentnor secured the equalizer with a long-range shot in the 85th minute, marking her first goal with the club.

In the day's other NWSL match, the Houston Dash defeated the North Carolina Courage 3-2. Clarissa Larisey scored a stoppage-time header in the 93rd minute to clinch the victory for the Dash. During the match, North Carolina's Evelyn Ijeh scored her 10th goal of the season, making her and teammate Ashley Sanchez the first pair of teammates in NWSL history to each reach at least 10 goals in a single season.
