During the Atlanta Dream’s 104-69 victory over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena, a physical altercation occurred between Angel Reese and Aaliyah Edwards. The incident took place in the second quarter when Edwards and Leila Lacan doubled-teamed Reese near the basket. Following contact that resulted in Reese being clipped on the neck, officials reviewed the play and upgraded the contact to a Flagrant 1 foul against Edwards.
