Angela D. Larosa charged with felony stalking and harassment

Angela D. Larosa, a 48-year-old resident of Stockton, California, has been charged in Island County Superior Court with two counts of felony harassment and one count of felony stalking. The charges, filed on September 21, are classified as domestic violence.

According to court documents and reports from the Island County Sheriff’s Office, the victim—the man's soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law—alleged that Larosa sent an escalating series of threatening, vulgar, and racist text messages dating back to November 2023. The messages reportedly included homophobic slurs, sexually explicit content, and threats of physical violence, including threats to shoot the victim.

Despite a domestic violence protection order obtained by the man in June, the victim reported receiving further messages in August. These messages allegedly contained threats to decapitate him and warnings not to leave town. The victim expressed fear that Larosa might travel to Whidbey to carry out the threats.
