Angela Stanford joins TCU as assistant women's golf coach

Angela Stanford, a former LPGA Tour professional and recent U.S. Solheim Cup captain, has joined Texas Christian University (TCU) as an assistant women's golf coach. Stanford returns to her alma mater, where she was a four-time All-American and a Hall of Fame inductee between 1996 and 2000.

Stanford retired from professional play in November 2024 following a highly decorated career. Her achievements include seven LPGA Tour wins, a major title at the 2018 Evian Championship, and a record 98 consecutive major championship appearances. She will serve under head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin, who led the program during Stanford's collegiate career.

In addition to her individual accolades, Stanford has extensive international experience, having captained the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup team and participated in six Solheim Cups as a player.
