Angelalign launches Pressure Points technology in Europe

Angelalign Technology Inc. has announced the launch of ‘Pressure Points’ in the European market. This new feature is an upgrade to the company’s existing ‘Torque Ridges’ technology, designed to improve torque control in orthodontic clear aligners.

Developed through ongoing research to increase clinical predictability, Pressure Points aims to provide more consistent force application than previous methods. The technology utilizes a simplified dimple shape to apply force closer to the center of the pressure point and offers a 25% increase in tooth surface contact when using a scalloped trimline.

While the initial launch focuses on a single configuration for torque corrections, the company plans to expand the feature to include rotation and intrusion. Following the European release, Angelalign intends to pursue global distribution.
