Angeles City celebrates 2026 Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan festival

The Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan (TTKD) festival took place on October 23–24, 2026, along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga. The two-night event drew more than 35,000 attendees for music, dancing, and food celebrations.

Originally established in 1992 to boost community morale following the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, the festival has become a symbol of Kapampangan resilience and unity. To commemorate the event's 34-year history, Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II commissioned a 14-minute mini-documentary, premiered during the festival's opening, to highlight the origins and significance of the celebration.
