Angeliki Iliadi warns of immigration 'invasion' in Greece after Ceuta videos

Greek singer Angeliki Iliadi publicly reacted to recent videos from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta showing large numbers of people attempting to cross the border. She said she was “shocked” by the scenes and warned that similar events could soon occur in Greece, describing the migrants as “invaders” rather than refugees.

Iliadi claimed that Islamist groups aim to “destroy Europe, turn it into an Islamic continent and eradicate Christianity.” She urged the Greek government to take “serious measures” to prevent what she called an imminent threat, citing the situation in England as even worse and calling for immediate action to protect the country’s future.

Her statements have sparked debate over immigration policy and the role of public figures in political discourse.
