Angelina Jolie sells historic Los Angeles estate for $24.75 million

Angelina Jolie has sold her historic Los Feliz estate in Los Angeles for $24.75 million. The sale, finalized approximately five months after being listed for $29.85 million, represents a modest profit from her 2017 purchase price of $24.5 million.

The approximately 11,000-square-foot residence, situated on two acres, holds significant Hollywood history. Originally designed in 1913 by architect B. Cooper Corbett, the property was famously owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille starting in 1916. The estate features six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a guest house, a pool, a gym, and views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory.

Jolie’s decision to sell follows her long-expressed desire to leave Los Angeles once her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, reached adulthood. Having turned 18 in July, the twins' milestone has enabled the actress to pursue a more nomadic lifestyle, with potential interests in spending more time in Cambodia or exploring other international locations.
