Angelina Jolie details post-divorce life as children drop Pitt surname

Angelina Jolie has spoken openly about her life since the 2016 divorce from Brad Pitt, saying she has focused on her six children and is regaining her "fighting spirit." She told Yahoo and Variety that her daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne have helped her "rediscover" herself, adding, "It’s kind of reminding me what I may have lost."

Several of the children have legally dropped the Pitt surname, with Pax remaining the only child to keep the double name. Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Knox have all changed their last names to Jolie, while the youngest twins have used only their mother’s surname publicly.

Brad Pitt, now 62, is reportedly trying to rebuild bridges with his children, aided by his partner Inés de Ramón. Rumors that Jolie once hoped for reconciliation have been dismissed, and she is said to be planning to spend more time in Cambodia.

Jolie emphasized that she has not entered a new romantic relationship in ten years, choosing instead to concentrate on motherhood and personal renewal as her children become adults.
