Angelina Jolie’s film “Couture” opens in U.S. theaters

French director Alice Winocour’s drama “Couture” stars Angelina Jolie as Maxine Walker, an American visual artist who travels to Paris for Fashion Week and learns she has breast cancer. The film also follows a South‑Sudan model and a makeup‑artist‑turned‑writer, weaving themes of fashion and personal crisis.

After premiering at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and receiving mixed reviews, “Couture” was released in France in February 2026. The movie begins its U.S. theatrical run on June 26 2026 in select cinemas. It is not yet available on streaming platforms such as Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, with a digital‑on‑demand release expected later in the year.
