Angelina Jolie's US departure stalls as Los Feliz mansion remains unsold

Actress Angelina Jolie plans to leave the United States once her twins, Knox and Vivienne, reach adulthood. The twins, born in July 2008, will turn 18 in July 2026, ending the custody clause that requires Jolie to stay in Los Angeles. She intends to split her time between Cambodia, where she owns property and has long‑standing humanitarian ties, and New York, which she will keep as her professional base.

The move is being delayed because her 1,000‑sq‑m Los Feliz estate, listed in early May for about $30 million, has not yet found a buyer. Sources say the slowdown in the Los Angeles housing market is causing the “annoying” hold‑up, although Jolie has the financial means to relocate without the sale. She remains determined to start a new chapter abroad once the legal restrictions lift.

The actress’ father, Jon Voight, has expressed sadness over the relocation, and her ongoing dispute with ex‑husband Brad Pitt over the Château Miraval estate continues, but neither issue appears to affect the planned move.
