Angelina Vučić discusses security fears and family insults

Angelina Vučić, mother of former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, has shared personal accounts of the emotional and security challenges her family faced during his political career. Speaking in the documentary film ‘Državnik’, she described the psychological toll of frequent insults and what she characterized as numerous lies directed at her family.

Vučić highlighted specific moments of intense fear regarding her son's safety. She recalled the unveiling of the Stefan Nemanja monument in Belgrade, noting her distress because her son refused to wear a bulletproof vest despite the presence of snipers. She also referenced the 2015 attack on Aleksandar Vučić in Potočari, expressing frustration that no one was held accountable for that incident.
