Angelo Buglione appointed head of Moscati Hospital Intensive Care Unit
Angelo Buglione, a 54-year-old anesthesiologist and reanimator, has been appointed to lead the Intensive Care Unit at Moscati Hospital. He won the competition for the position and is scheduled to begin his new role in September.
Buglione has been with the hospital since 2004. His previous experience includes serving as the head of the Post-Operative Intensive Care Unit starting in 2025, acting as a COVID-19 Intensive Care referral during the pandemic, and serving as a surgical suite coordinator with expertise in orthopedics. He has also been a provincial representative for the anesthesiologists' union, Aaroi, since 2022.
General Director Germano Perito welcomed the appointment, noting that Buglione’s long tenure within the organization and his deep connection to the Avellino community provide valuable expertise and local understanding for this strategic role.
