Angelos Zoupas Selected for NBA Basketball Without Borders Camp

Seventeen‑year‑old Angelos Zoupas, a member of Greece’s U‑18 national team that finished fifth at the EuroBasket U18 in Trento, has been invited to the NBA‑organized Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camp. The camp, held in partnership with FIBA, gathers 80 of the world’s top youth basketball prospects and this year will take place at the Basketbol Gelişim Merkezi in Istanbul on August 26. Zoupas, standing 2.00 m tall and averaging 4.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists in the EuroBasket tournament, will train under coaches from the Cleveland Cavaliers and other NBA staff. He becomes the first Greek player to receive a BWB invitation, continuing a family tradition in the sport.
