Angels Way invests 200,000 euros in four Portuguese startups

Angels Way, a community-managed investment fund regulated by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), has invested 200,000 euros into four Portuguese startups: Lampsy, Intuitivo, Smashpro, and UpSpeech. Each startup received 50,000 euros in funding.

This latest round brings the fund's total investment to 750,000 euros, reaching 75% of its initial goal to invest one million euros across 20 early-stage technology companies. The collective portfolio of 15 supported startups is currently valued at a combined 79.5 million euros. The fund utilizes a community of 436 small investors who participate in the identification, analysis, and selection of projects using proprietary blockchain-based technology.

The portfolio focuses on original artificial intelligence solutions designed for international scalability. Notable companies include Lampsy, which uses computer vision and AI to detect epilepsy seizures, and Intuitivo, a platform designed to automate administrative tasks for educators.
