Angera to host autumn Agrivarese agricultural festival

The Agrivarese agricultural festival is scheduled to return to the shores of Lake Maggiore for its autumn edition on Sunday, October 11, in Angera. Following a successful spring event, this second stage is promoted by the Varese Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Municipality of Angera and various industry associations.

The event aims to showcase local agricultural businesses and the variety of autumn produce. It features a sensory and educational path designed for citizens, visitors, and families to explore the agro-food sector, which is considered vital for the local economy, landscape protection, and biodiversity.

The initiative is supported by the Lombardy Region, the Province of Varese, and industry organizations including Coldiretti, Confagricoltura Varese, and the Italian Confederation of Farmers. Mauro Vitiello, President of the Varese Chamber of Commerce, noted that the event seeks to highlight the connection between agriculture, the environment, and regional tourism by promoting ‘km zero’ culture and certified supply chains.
