Angers hosts 6th edition of L'Estival de Premiers Plans film festival

The 6th edition of L'Estival de Premiers Plans will take place in Angers from August 26 to 29 at the Les 400 Coups cinema. Organized by the Premiers Plans association, the festival features a program of film premieres and meetings with filmmakers.

Five films will receive special previews, with four directors scheduled to attend in person. Featured works include Adieu monde cruel by Félix de Givry, Minotaure by Andrei Zviaguintsev, La Gradivade by Marine Atlan, and Notre salut by Emmanuel Marre. The animation Le Corset by Louis Clichy will also be presented for younger audiences.

The event will highlight regional cinema from the Pays de la Loire area. This includes a special program for Studios de l’Ouest, featuring the short film Fort comme un lion by Nathan Villanneau and the documentary Le Rêve de Juan by René Ballesteros, alongside other regional short films.
