Angers SCO and Le Mans secure key football victories

In French football, Angers SCO secured their first home victory of the season with a 2-0 win against Troyes. Prosper Peter opened the scoring with a header just before halftime, followed by a second goal from Amine Sbaï in the second half, helping Angers climb to sixth place in the standings. However, the victory was marked by Yacouba Koné being carried off on a stretcher shortly after entering the match.

Le Mans achieved their first Ligue 1 victory in sixteen years, defeating Lorient. Adil Bourabaa scored early in the match, and Habib Diallo added a second goal with a header to secure the win, despite a late goal from Lorient's Isak Jensen.
