Angi appoints Michael Steib as Chief Executive Officer

Angi, a digital home services marketplace, has appointed Michael Steib as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Steib succeeds Jeff Kip, who will remain with the company as an advisor for a six-month transition period.

As part of the leadership restructuring, Joey Levin is transitioning from Executive Chairman of the Board to Chairman. Steib, who will also remain a member of the board, is tasked with overseeing company strategy and daily operations with a specific focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance products for homeowners and service professionals.

Steib brings extensive executive experience to the role, having previously served as president and CEO of TEGNA. His professional background also includes leadership positions as CEO of Artsy and CEO of XO Group Inc.
