Angie Samiou returns to the stage after 18-year hiatus

Greek singer Angie Samiou has returned to the stage following an 18-year hiatus. Her comeback performance took place on Monday, October 5, during a charity concert held at the Katrakeio Theatre in Nikaia.

During the event, Samiou performed her well-known 1999 hit, ‘Parallel Love’. In a subsequent interview on the television program ‘Happy Day’, she explained that her long absence was a personal choice to seek inner balance and tranquility away from the intense public eye. She stated, ‘I rejected this world of work and preferred to return to my silence. To find myself and be well with myself.’

Addressing her public image, the 66-year-old singer noted that she has no reservations about being open about her age, mentioning that she frequently shares photos from her birthdays.
