Angkor Golf Resort partners with Troon International for 2026 reopening

Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia, has appointed Troon International as a strategic adviser to support its planned reopening in early November 2026. The partnership aims to position the resort as a premier destination within the international golf tourism market.

Troon International will provide expertise across several sectors, including golf operations, agronomy, sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and staff development. Agronomy and operations teams are already working with the resort's current staff to optimize course conditions and facility readiness.

The 18-hole championship course was designed by Sir Nick Faldo and originally opened in 2007. Located near the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Angkor Archaeological Park, the resort seeks to leverage its proximity to major cultural landmarks to attract overseas golfers and enhance the overall guest experience.
