Anglican Church apologizes for Brisbane Cathedral reality show filming

The Anglican Church has issued an apology and requested the removal of content from a reality television series filmed at St John’s Anglican Cathedral in Brisbane. The program, titled ‘Turned On: Dirty, Sexy Money’ and streaming on the Australian service Stan, focuses on individuals earning significant income through OnlyFans.

Archbishop Jeremy Greaves expressed shock at the program’s nature and intent, stating it does not align with the values of the Diocese. The Archbishop noted that the Cathedral staff may have been misled by producers, believing the production was a documentary exploring faith and life complexities rather than the reality series it became.

The Diocese has requested that producers immediately remove all footage featuring individuals other than Dean Peter Catt, including what the Archbishop described as unacceptable imagery of children within the Cathedral. The controversy follows criticism from campaigners regarding the use of the religious site as a backdrop for content involving adult industry performers.
