Anglo American to donate 14 patrol vehicles to Moquegua

Anglo American and the Peruvian Ministry of the Interior have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen public security in the Moquegua region. As part of this agreement, the company will donate 14 modern 4x4 double-cabin pickup trucks to the National Police of Peru.

The vehicles are intended to improve preventive patrolling, emergency response, and the overall operational capacity of police units in the area. The donation will be distributed across three provinces: six vehicles for Mariscal Nieto, five for Ilo, and three for General Sánchez Cerro. The agreement was signed in Lima by Minister of the Interior César Astudillo Salcedo and Anglo American Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Diego Ortega Meneses.
