Angola and Algarve promote tourism at WTM London
Angola and the Algarve region are participating in the World Travel Market (WTM) London, held from November 3 to 5, to promote their respective tourism sectors to international markets.
A ministerial delegation from Angola, led by State Secretary Josemar Euclides João Afonso, is presenting a diverse range of services including nature tourism, adventure, and hospitality. The delegation includes 12 national companies and operators, such as African Parks and various hotel groups, aiming to attract international investment and visitors.
Representing Portugal, Turismo do Algarve is bringing 30 companies to the event to showcase offerings beyond sun and sea, such as golf, gastronomy, and luxury tourism. The initiative seeks to attract visitors during off-peak seasons and strengthen commercial ties with the British market, which remains a primary source of tourists for the region.
