Angola and Brazil strengthen academic and scientific cooperation

Academic institutions in Angola and Brazil are strengthening ties through international mobility and scientific cooperation. At the University of Luanda, Professor Leila Oliveira Santos from the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB) has been serving as a visiting professor. Her work includes teaching in Transport Engineering, focusing on environmental impact assessments, as well as participating in dance activities within the Faculty of Arts.

Simultaneously, the Rector of FUMEC University, Antônio Carlos Diniz Murta, is participating in the II International Experience organized by CONPEDI in Luanda. This event focuses on environmental geopolitics and human rights. As part of this academic exchange, Murta has engaged in institutional meetings, including discussions with the President of the National Electoral Commission of Angola, and has contributed to panels regarding legal education and South-South cooperation.
