Angola to host Lusophone audit institutions seminar in Luanda
The Court of Auditors of Angola will host the IX Seminar of the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (OISC-CPLP) in Luanda from October 27 to 29, 2026. Held at the Palace of Justice, the event will be conducted alongside the III Meeting of Young Auditors.
Under the theme “The Role of SAIs in Digital Transformation, Sustainability, and Transparency,” the seminar aims to address how audit institutions can adapt to a changing state landscape. Key topics include the digitalization of public administration, the use of artificial intelligence, massive data processing, and increasing demands for transparency and sustainability.
The event is organized under the current Angolan Presidency of the OISC-CPLP, led by the President of the Court of Auditors of Angola, Sebastião Domingos Gunza. The gathering also marks an expansion of institutional cooperation, following the approval of observer status for Brazilian entities including the Instituto Rui Barbosa (IRB), the Association of Members of the Courts of Accounts of Brazil (ATRICON), and the Brazilian Association of Municipal Courts of Accounts (ABRACOM).
