The Superior Council of the Judicial Magistracy (CSMJ) has appointed new presidents for several district courts in Angola, including Huambo, Moxico, Icolo e Bengo, Cacuaco, and Camacupa. Additionally, Fernando Eduardo Masculino has been named the new President of the Luanda Court of Appeal.

During the inauguration ceremonies, CSMJ President Norberto Sodré João urged the new judicial leaders and nine newly appointed judges to prioritize combating procedural delays and improving justice administration. He emphasized the need for greater oversight, coordination between magistrates and staff, and ensuring that judicial decisions are rendered within legal timeframes.

Sodré João specifically highlighted the importance of the Luanda Court of Appeal due to its status in the capital and called for closer monitoring of complex and high-profile cases.
