Angra celebrates 30 years of ‘Holy Land’ with international tour

The Brazilian heavy metal band Angra is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark second studio album, ‘Holy Land’, which was originally released in 1996. The album is noted for its unique fusion of progressive and power metal with traditional Brazilian ethnic rhythms, incorporating indigenous, African, and European cultural elements.

To commemorate the milestone, the band is conducting an international tour that includes stops in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Greece. The performances feature the full execution of the album and introduce Alírio Neto as the band’s new vocalist, following the legacy of the late André Matos. The tour aims to showcase a new visual language and the band’s current musical dynamic.
