Angra performs in Buenos Aires to celebrate ‘Holy Land’ anniversary
Brazilian progressive metal band Angra performed at Arena Sur in Buenos Aires on August 22, 2026, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, ‘Holy Land’. The concert marked the band's return to Argentina after three years.
The event featured the Argentine debut of new vocalist Alirio Netto, who replaces Fabio Lione. Netto was noted for his ability to deliver impressive high notes, maintaining the band's vocal tradition. To enhance the performance of the ‘Holy Land’ tracks, the band included a guest percussionist to execute traditional Brazilian rhythms.
