Angualasto honors firefighter Jorge Carbajal with memorial

The community of Angualasto held a memorial service to honor Jorge Carbajal, a former Deputy Chief of the San Juan Provincial Fire Department. The tribute included a Mass at the Capilla de la Virgen de Andacollo, led by Priest Javier Zaballa.

Following the service, local authorities, including Mayor Jorge Espejo and various members of the San Juan Police and Fire Department, gathered at Plazoleta La Aguada. A commemorative plaque was unveiled at the site to honor Carbajal’s lifelong dedication to public service and his impact on the region.
