Anguilla and The Bahamas target luxury yacht market at Monaco Yacht Show
Tourism and port officials from Anguilla and The Bahamas utilized the Monaco Yacht Show, held from 23 to 26 September, to promote their respective destinations within the global luxury yachting market.
Anguilla’s delegation, including representatives from the Anguilla Tourist Board and the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority, focused on building relationships with yacht owners, operators, and developers. The mission aimed to understand market expectations regarding destination access, arrival procedures, and port experiences to prepare for the upcoming luxury vessel season.
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism launched the ‘Dock Anchor & Discover’ campaign to position the nation as a superyacht hub. Led by Parliamentary Secretary Randy Rolle, the delegation showcased the country’s yachting ecosystem, including marinas, FBOs, provisioning, and luxury concierge services, to capture a larger share of the international market.
