Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai integrates Vietnamese traditional music

The fourth performance round of the music competition 'Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai' has focused on integrating Vietnamese traditional music and cultural heritage into modern performances. The latest episode features various regional musical styles, including Northern folk songs, Southern 'đờn ca tài tử', and Tày ethnic music.

In the performance 'Tich tich tinh tang', artists Hoang Rob, Will, Tho, Hoang Dung, and Tung Mint utilized 'hát then' and the 'đàn tính' instrument to honor Tày culture. The act included traditional props such as 'đầu mèo' from Lang Son and featured a moment where Hoang Dung performed alongside his mother to represent generational continuity.

The competition's fourth round is structured around three major Vietnamese cultural themes: Lac Long Quan - Au Co, Thanh Giong, and Thach Sanh. These themes require participants to demonstrate musical creativity and storytelling abilities while preserving traditional values in a contemporary format.
