Anheuser-Busch beer trucks stolen in California theft

Two trucks carrying beer products with a combined value of approximately $70,000 were stolen from an Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Monterey, California, on August 17. Authorities believe the theft was carried out by an organized criminal group.

The perpetrators used forged documents to pose as legitimate carriers, successfully bypassing security checks. Within about an hour, they departed with two loads. The first truck carried $45,000 worth of products destined for Tucson, Arizona. The second truck contained over 18,000 liters of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, destined for San Diego.

Pabst Blue Ribbon responded to the incident on social media, humorously requesting the return of the second truck. The company offered a reward for information leading to the recovery of the vehicle, stating they would accept its return ‘without questions’ within a specific timeframe.
