Anáhuac Labs inaugurated in Huixquilucan

The municipality of Huixquilucan has inaugurated ‘Anáhuac Labs’ at the Universidad Anáhuac México. This technological complex, located within the Faculty of Engineering, is designed to train highly qualified engineers to address global and national technological challenges.

The project represents an investment of approximately 450 million pesos and covers a surface area exceeding 8,300 square meters. The facility aims to integrate teaching, research, and practical application to foster multidisciplinary engineering solutions through the ‘Anáhuac 5.0 Vision,’ which focuses on meeting the high demands of the global industry.

During the inauguration, Huixquilucan Mayor Romina Contreras Carrasco and PAN Parliamentary Group Vice-Coordinator Enrique Vargas del Villar emphasized that the space will serve as a hub for collaboration between academia, businesses, and government. The project, which began construction with its first stone laid on March 12, 2024, is intended to drive regional technological development and innovation.
