TAMA Drums has unveiled the Anika Nilles signature snare drum following a two-year development process. The instrument features a 14x6.5 inch, 1.2mm seamless aluminum shell designed to provide warmth, projection, and deep low-end resonance.

Key design elements include a slightly wider bearing edge and four grooves at the center of the shell to enhance rigidity and natural resonance. The snare is equipped with Sound Arc Hoops and a newly designed ‘Mod-Tone Muffler,’ which allows players to instantly switch the mute on or off and adjust pressure via a single dial.

Anika Nilles, recognized for her technical precision and innovative rhythmic approach, is set to join the rock band Rush as a touring drummer for their ‘Fifty Something’ tour in 2026.
