Anil Kapoor hosts 'India Ke Top 1%' game show debut Sep 5

Star Plus and JioHotstar will launch the Indian adaptation of the international game‑show format “The 1% Club”, titled “India Ke Top 1%”, on 5 September. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will host the series, which tests contestants on logic, observation, common sense and presence of mind rather than factual knowledge.

The show is part of Star Plus’s return to non‑fiction programming and JioStar’s strategy to develop intellectual properties that work across television, connected TVs and streaming. Viewers can play along at home, and advertisers are targeting categories such as technology, banking and automobiles.
