Anil Kapoor recalls late friend Satish Kaushik on television

Actor Anil Kapoor became visibly emotional during the filming of his show, ‘India Ke Top 1%’, after encountering Gagan, a contestant who bears a striking resemblance to the late Satish Kaushik.

Kapoor used the moment to reflect on his deep bond with Kaushik, describing him as a dear friend and stating, ‘If I would have had a twin brother, it would have been Satish. He knew everything about me, my anger, my happiness and everything.’

Satish Kaushik passed away in 2023 at the age of 66 following a heart attack while traveling to a hospital in Gurugram. Over a career spanning four decades and more than 100 films, Kaushik was a prominent figure in the Hindi film industry and received a National Film Award for the 2019 Haryanvi film ‘Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti’.
