Anil Kapoor to host new quiz reality show ‘India’s Top 1%’

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is set to host a new quiz reality show titled ‘India’s Top 1%’ on Star Plus and JioHotstar. A promotional teaser featuring Kapoor in a traditional, Qawwali-inspired all-black ensemble has been released, generating significant social media interest.

Unlike traditional quiz shows that focus on academic knowledge or general studies, this program aims to test contestants on common sense, logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and observation skills. The show’s tagline, ‘Baat Khatki Toh Jeet Pakki’, emphasizes the importance of quick thinking and presence of mind over formal degrees. Siddharth Basu, a prominent figure in Indian quizzing, serves as an official consultant for the project.
