Anima Mea Festival announces 18th edition in Puglia

The 18th edition of the Anima Mea international early music festival will take place from October 16 to November 24. Directed by Gioacchino De Padova, the festival is scheduled to feature 21 concerts across several locations in Italy, including Bari, Sannicandro di Bari, Andria, and Palo del Colle.

The program includes approximately 30 hours of live music performed by 50 musicians from ten European regions and the Americas. The festival aims to use musical heritage as a means of cultural connection and reflection amidst global conflicts and environmental crises. Featured performers include various international ensembles and soloists, such as the gamba duo of Amélie Chemin and Paolo Pandolfo, flautist Manuel Staropoli with Accademia del Ricercare, and the Catalan ensemble Vespres d’Arnadí.
