Animal protein sector highlights feed and genetics innovations at 2026 global conferences
Biovet S.A. presented its research on natural feed additives—activated diatoms, pronutrients and phenolic antimicrobial molecules—to improve intestinal health in broiler chickens at the World Poultry Congress (WPC) 2026 in Toronto, Canada. The company said the approach aims to reduce digestive challenges, boost productive efficiency and support animal welfare.
The International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS) 2026, scheduled for August 4‑6 in São Paulo, Brazil, will feature poultry and swine genetics companies showcasing high‑performance breeding lines that enhance weight gain, feed conversion, batch uniformity and overall productivity. Organisers expect hundreds of exhibitors and visitors from more than 60 countries, with the fair covering 45,000 m², a 65 % increase over the previous edition.
