Animal rescue efforts highlight stories of a rescued dog and a kitten in need

In Mauritius, a Boston terrier named Journey was rescued after spending fourteen days living on railway tracks. The dog had been abandoned and faced constant danger from passing trains. Volunteers from Logan's Legacy 29, including Suzette Hall and Rosario Ortiz, conducted search efforts during the day and late at night to safely retrieve the animal, which had become fearful of humans after previous attempts to capture it.

In Italy, the ENPA – Costa d’Amalfi is seeking a permanent home for Anita, a three-month-old kitten. Anita is currently being kept in a temporary refuge in a bathroom to protect her from neighbors, but her current foster situation is no longer sustainable due to conflicts with other cats in the household. The organization is calling for an adoption to provide the kitten with a stable environment.
