Animal rescue groups save kittens in Bronx and Myrtle Beach

Animal rescue organizations in the United States have successfully intervened to save several feline families in distress.

In the Bronx, The Cat Collective Rescue NY rescued a mother cat named Frenchie and her five kittens after they were found in critical condition behind a nail salon. The kittens were suffering from severe illness, including severe diarrhea, but are reportedly recovering following intensive medical care and round-the-clock monitoring.

In Myrtle Beach, the organization Cats of the Boardwalk rescued a litter of four kittens from a dangerous abandoned property. One kitten had previously become trapped in a utility access hole. Rescuers successfully trapped and removed all four kittens from the site to prepare them for adoption, while efforts continue to locate and spay the mother cat.
