Animal rescue in Kiryat Ata and construction site fire in Petah Tikva

In Kiryat Ata, two horses were rescued from severe neglect and malnutrition. Following joint enforcement actions by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, the Galilee Western Veterinary Service, and the Israel Police, the animals were moved to a protected facility for rehabilitation. Officials noted that previous inspections had issued warnings to the owner regarding deficiencies, which remained unaddressed. The horses were found in a state of extreme thinness with various health issues.

In Petah Tikva, emergency crews successfully extinguished a large fire at a construction site in an underground parking lot. The blaze, which originated in a storage area for plastic products and pipes, covered approximately 2,000 square meters and produced thick smoke. A special investigation team has been established to determine the cause of the fire.
