Animal rescue operations reported in Buenos Aires and Paraná

In the Boedo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, authorities rescued two medium-sized dogs from a residence where they were kept in extremely unsanitary conditions without adequate food or water. Following a report regarding the animals' abandonment and injuries to one of the dogs, the Specialized Fiscal Unit in Environmental Matters (UFEMA) conducted a raid authorized by Judge Paula Núñez Gelvez.

The dogs have been transferred to the NGO Refugio Don Torcuato for veterinary care and recovery. The owner of the residence has been charged with alleged animal cruelty as the judicial investigation continues.

In Paraná, emergency responders rescued a mother weasel and approximately 11 offspring found inside a washing machine drum. After being secured by police, volunteer firefighters transported the animals to a rural area outside the city center to ensure their safe release into the wild.
