Animal rescue teams save puppies in Mexico and Spain

Rescue workers from the Centro de Atención Animal de Tequisquiapan (CAAT) intervened in San Nicolás, Tequisquiapan, after citizens reported a suspected case of animal abuse. They rescued two adult dogs, four newborn puppies and a pregnant cat, all of which were taken to the CAAT facility for veterinary care while legal proceedings continue.

In Cáceres, Spain, a neighbor alerted local police to a bag containing seven newborn puppies that had been abandoned in a trash container. The Guardia Civil, SEPRONA, and municipal police coordinated a rapid response, transferring the puppies to a veterinary clinic for treatment and monitoring. Both incidents highlight community involvement and coordinated action by animal‑protection authorities.
