Animal shelters in Germany seek new homes for cats and dogs

Animal shelters in Germany are seeking permanent homes for various cats and dogs currently in their care.

At the Tom-Tatze animal shelter, a three-colored cat named Fenja is looking for a quiet home. After being rescued from a feeding station and raising four kittens at the shelter, Fenja is now seeking a household without other cats where she can build trust at her own pace.

Meanwhile, the Forchheim animal shelter is highlighting several dogs available for adoption, including Luna and Mura, two mixed-breed female dogs born in October 2025. Additionally, River, a male Podenco mix, is seeking an owner who can provide training to manage his reactivity toward other dogs during walks.
